The CEM 2026 colloquium is back to Limoges for its 22nd edition. The XLIM Institute organizing committee is delighted to welcome you to the friendly premises of the ENSIL-ENSCI engineering school on the ESTER technology park. The ESTER technology park is home to start-ups and high-tech companies.
President's Message
The International Colloquium and Exhibition on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) is held every two years. Since 1981, it has become a must-attend event for academic and industrial specialists in electromagnetic compatibility. This discipline has a clear objective: to ensure the cohabitation of increasingly diverse electronic systems. However, this objective can only be achieved through a thorough understanding of electronic systems and their behavior. Particularly in frequency bands where they are not supposed to operate. The electromagnetic environment is also an important factor to consider for nominal operation. As a result, we can see that this discipline is confronted with a wide range of issues, requiring expertise in various fields: sources, coupling, protection, health aspects, modeling, measurement benches and standards.
In recent years, EMC requirements have evolved, notably with the energy transition and electrical conversion technologies, which are introducing an unprecedented shift towards all-electricity. The electromagnetic aspect of cybersecurity is also at the heart of current concerns. It is through all these concerns that this edition will turn via oral, invited and poster sessions. This year's event, like previous ones, will provide an opportunity for a wide range of exchanges between engineers from industry and the scientific community, helping to strengthen ties, share knowledge and foster new collaborations.
The 22nd EMC Colloquium is organized by the XLIM Institute. This institute is a CNRS joint research unit comprising some 450 people, half of whom are university and CNRS staff, and the other half doctoral and post-doctoral students.
